The tracks groan as a CTA rumbles overhead, a rhythmic clatter that carries droves of passengers through Chicago. Skyscrapers stretch toward the heavens in the background. Their surfaces of steel and glass refract the sun in aquatic-like waves upon the street below, concentrating beams into glaringly bright spotlights. These shafts of light fall between the track's slats casting fragmented patterns that dance on the sidewalks below.
